I spent 8 days in Vienna, Austria at the Intercontinental Hotel near the Downtown area and was centrally located for walking.
There was a park across the street that had beautiful scenery and a couple of statures. People would be sitting on benches having lunch or laying out on the grass enjoying the sun. I occasionally sat on a bench to enjoy the views.
The park was also where I would cut through to get to the tram or walk a few miles to City Center and Old Town. Vienna is one of those cities where you can walk in any direction and run into something visually gratifying. There are so many old and beautiful buildings, BIG buildings and massive church buildings. The Museum District had some of the largest museums. I found myself walking for hours around the city.
