I spent 4 days in Budva, in an apartment I found on Booking.com. I don’t normally use third-party booking sites, but this place was a recommendation, and it did not disappoint. The apartment was nicely decorated, had great natural light (a plus for me), opened windows gave a good breeze, and it was located less than 5 minutes to the beach and eateries.
It rained 1 ½ days but I did get a chance to get to the beach and walk along the boardwalk that led to the Old Town.
Budva seems to be a booming city, or one that is planning for more tourism. From the view of the apartment, there were 4 different construction projects in progress. Two seemed to be condos and one was definitely going to be a hotel. I couldn’t figure out the other one, but more than likely residential.
Because I was in an apartment with all the amenities, it felt like home.
