From Lisbon, my sister and I took an Uber to Cascais Portugal; a 35 minute drive. We stayed only 2 days at the Onyria Marinha Cascais, a premier coastal resort town on the Portuguese Riviera. The hotel is nestled between the ocean (a few blocks down the street) and the pine forests of Quinta da Marinha. Our furnished patio led out to a view of pure calmness.
We spent a day in the small charm of the city. There was a man-made beach that had several people sunbathing. The water in Portugal at time of the year is cold. However, there were a few brave souls that ventured into the water.
Cascais was a nice stop from the big city of Lisbon. You could make it a day trip or stay in the town for some relax time.
